SAVRUL Tips: 12 Rules for Winning More Rounds
SAVRUL has a one-line rule: stay in the arena and fling your rivals off it. Hidden inside that line are dozens of small decisions. These 12 rules collect the most common beginner mistakes and the habits experienced players rely on without thinking.
The basics
1. Dash is a weapon, not a throttle
Dash is a single powerful hit that takes time to recharge. The biggest mistake is spending it to move around. Save it for the moment you are sure it will land. The green ring around your ball shows it is ready — don't start a fight without it.
2. Approach from the inside
To knock someone out you need to push them toward the edge, so come at them from the center side. Hit them from the outside and you push them in — and yourself out.
3. Let them waste their dash
When two players dash at the same time, the heavier one wins. But a wasted dash leaves a player defenceless for a few seconds. Good players dodge first and strike second.
4. Edge orbs are tempting — check your back
Orbs near the edge are worth more. Grab them if nobody is around; head back to the center if someone is close. Getting flung while farming the edge is the most common death in the game.
Mass and momentum
5. Get careful as you grow
Heavy balls are hard to move but accelerate slowly and recharge their dash late. A big player's worst enemy is a small, nimble rival dashing at the edge. When you are big, stay central and pick your fights.
6. Be an opportunist when small
A small player knocking out a big one scores far more points. Sneaking up behind a big rival near the edge is the fastest way up the leaderboard.
7. Don't panic in the red zone
The red area outside the arena line isn't instant death — the real limit is the dashed outer line. Hold your direction toward the center; it's slippery, so the turn is slow, but you usually make it back.
Play the map
8. Every map has its own weapon
Blast rings, asteroid rocks and the red light itself are all weapons. Pushing a rival into an exploding ring or pinning them between a rock and the edge beats a straight dash.
9. On elimination maps, survive first
On Last Standing and Falling Floor, death is permanent — staying alive wins, not points. Avoid early fights, let others eliminate each other and come in strong at the end.
10. Hot Potato doesn't stop when you don't have the bomb
The bomb carrier is fast; don't get cornered while running. If the bomb is yours, don't run randomly — pick the nearest, slowest rival. As the fuse runs out, stay behind the carrier to avoid the blast knockback.
Round endings
11. Own the final minute
Near the end the arena shrinks and orbs multiply in value. It's the best moment to climb — and the riskiest. Keep your dash ready for the last 30 seconds.
12. Use the map vote
After each round you vote from three maps. If you know where you shine, steer the game there.
